The “Thirteenth Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium and Trade Fair” was held in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel of Beijing Financial Street on October 30, 2009, in which Kerry Properties Chairman Mr Ang Keng-Lam and Kerry EAS Logistics Managing Director Mr Edwardo Erni signed the tripartite agreement with Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Qian Xu of Beijing Construction (Holding) Co., Ltd. and General Manager Lei Zhengang of Beijing Holdings Limited concerning the “cooperation for the development of the inland Chaoyang Port and promotion for the infrastructure construction of logistics base in Beijing”, which signifies a milestone event in the development history of the Company.

This Fair solicited USD 3.2 billion from some Hong Kong-based enterprises signing 36 cooperation projects with Beijing enterprises in nine industries involving modern service industry, culture and creation industry and biological pharmaceutical industry and so on.
