In the end of 2009, the cargo vehicle purchased with one hundred thousand RMB donated by our company will be driven into the Bainian Vocational School for the children of migrant workers (Bainian School) in Beijing to address the difficulty of sending foods to the teachers and students.
On October 10, KEAS, as one of the donation enterprises, participated in the “Third Graduation Ceremony and Fifth Opening Ceremony” of Bainian School with the distinguished guests from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and US Embassy in China, witnessing the 68 promising youths with proven skills to walk out of the School as well as another students walking into this warm family full of love.
What made us feel particularly amicable and approachable was that when mentioning Mr Robert Kuok in answering the thanks on the opening ceremony, a teacher said, “Mr Kuok thought that three things should be well done, child rearing, family sustenance and some good deeds.” This teacher had sent the summarized wisdom of Mr Kuok throughout his life to the students going to leave this school, hoping that they would never forget where their happiness came from by keeping their loving care extended to more persons.
